WHAT IS AIRSOFT?

Airsoft is a modern combat sport or recreational hobby in which participants eliminate opponents by hitting each other with plastic pellets, launched from airsoft guns. Participants typically use varying types of weapons designed as replicas of real firearms, tactical gear, and accessories used by military and police organizations. In North America and Europe, there is a growing interest in playing airsoft.

IS AIRSOFT SAFE?

Airsoft is completely safe as long as the correct rules are adhered to. We always have marshalls that conduct the games professionally and safely with as minimum of fuss and disturbance. Safety goggles are always worn when in play. GroundWar Airsoft pride ourselves on having an impeccable safety record to date.

We wont lie to you, playing Airsoft comes with some discomfort. When you are hit by from another rifle, depending on the distance and what clothing you are wearing, you may recieve a welt on the skin which fades away soon after. Airsoft is less painful that paintball however because the ammunition is much smaller and has much less kinetic energy.

Playing airsoft is much cheaper that paintball. The average price of a full day game at GroundWar Airsoft is £30 and that is with everything included. For more information on event prices then please click on the INFO link above.
